“Based on my personal experience as a patient I realised that it is very helpful to listen to people, hearing stories of other patients and see how they cope. I also realised that there is no place online where such stories are collected. Our vision is to portrait inspiring stories and make them available to those who need it most.”
In 2012 Martin got diagnosed with a rare type of pancreatic cancer. Shocked by the poor survival statistics he decided to face his diagnose by signing up for a triathlon - despite he had never practiced endurance sport before.
Sharing his journey publicly made him realise that personal stories have a very empowering effect for many people.
