Datin Dr Juliet was first diagnosed a Spinal tumour in 1970, and since then, cancer would be a constant recurring theme in her life, with 5 different cancer types showing up in her body during the next 40 years. Juliet took help from the Buddhist teachings of acceptance helped her to cope.
Today Datin Dr Juliet Dharmalingam is 90 years old and a practicing Buddhist. She enjoys time with her family and grandchildren and Chinese ink painting classes in between her regular meditations.
