I became world champion in a way I’d never imagined.
— Kevin Holdener

Kevin knew he wanted to ski since he was a little boy, and the people around him noticed early that he had talent. So he spent every moment he could on the ski slopes. And his career was going forward quickly, but got a brute stop when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at 21.

Kevin’s younger sister Wendy always looked up to her bigger brother and was following him onto the ski slopes. When he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, she had to continue her ski journey without Kevin as he went through treatment and surgeries.

Nowadays Kevin works with his sister, as her manager and marketing project manager. Participating in her success in ways he’d never imagined. And soon enough he got to experience what it means to be in a team of a world champion, when his sister Wendy won the World Ski Championships.
